Black Art of Multiplatform Game Programming
I am the author of the book titled Black Art of Multiplatform Game Programming. I wrote this book with general guidance from Andre LaMothé. This book covers game programming on multiple platforms using the SDL library. This book was written for beginner and intermediate programmers interested in game programming on Windows and Linux. The book starts off by teaching the reader how to do simple operations like drawing images and playing sounds and finishes by teaching the reader how to program a complete game using a game engine that was created in the book. Additionally, this book comes with video tutorials to expand upon every chapter. When writing this, my focus was to write the book I would have wanted to read when I was just learning how to program video games. I put years worth of knowledge into this book, which you can read in just a matter of weeks!
